The JW Marriott Indianapolis aims to provide a new definition of luxury in the city that is redefining the Midwest. The property, scheduled to open in 2011, will form the centerpiece of the more than 2,200-room, five-hotel Marriott Place Indianapolis complex.
Hotel Amenities
When it opens, the property will offer 34 floors with 1,005 elegantly appointed guest rooms and suites. Custom bedding in the luxurious guest rooms will include designer duvets, plush toppers and rich linens. The hotel will also feature a concierge level, which will offer additional amenities. Guests staying at the property will enjoy nightly turndown service.
Groups holding their association event at the JW Marriott Indianapolis will have access to more than 104,000 square feet of meeting and event space, comprising the 40,500-square-foot Grand Ballroom, the 20,700-square-foot Junior Ballroom, a 20,000-square-foot exhibition space and 51 meeting rooms totaling 23,000 square feet of space.
Groups will appreciate the hotel’s state-of the-art audiovisual capabilities and innovative lighting design. Multiple seating configurations can be used.
In addition, the property is connected via skybridge to the Indiana Convention Center, which offers more than 749,000 square feet of space, including 11 exhibition halls totaling 567,000 square feet of contiguous exhibit space.
Facilities & Services
There will be dining options to suit every palate (and budget) at the JW Marriott. At the Tuscan bistro, bold accents, contemporary interiors, an exotic wine selection and a modern display kitchen await. For casual fare, at High Velocity guests will be able to join in the lively atmosphere of a high-tech, high-adrenaline sports bar and watch their favorite teams on the big screen.
In between meetings, event attendees can choose to relax or be invigorated with one of the property’s day spa services. Offerings are expected to include massages, pedicures, manicures and more. Guests looking for a quick workout will find exactly what they need at the state-of-the-art fitness center and swimming pool.
Staying connected while traveling will be made easy by high-speed Internet access throughout the hotel and a full-service business center on site.
Marriott Place & More
In 2010, another three new Marriott properties will open as part of the $500 million Marriott Place complex. The Courtyard by Marriott, SpringHill Suites by Marriott and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott will offer free high-speed Internet access, a fitness center and a pool.
