Meeting Facilities & Hotels

Home to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Grapevine is an exceptional destination. Grapevine offers a newly renovated, 23,500-square-foot convention center. Right in the center of the D/FW Metroplex and south of Historic Downtown Grapevine, the Grapevine Convention Center is a flexible, multi-use facility. Prefunction areas are generous in size and finely appointed, perfect for registration or entertaining.

The extraordinary Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center on Lake Grapevine boasts 1,511 hotel rooms and 400,000 square feet of convention space. Gaylord Texan Resort is expanding its meeting space, as well as adding new sleeping rooms. The expansion will add more than 200,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, approximately 500 luxury guest rooms, a resort pool and other recreational amenities. Upon completion, Gaylord Texan Resort will offer meeting planners approximately 2,000 hotel rooms and more than 600,000 square feet of convention space.

Grapevine currently has more than 5,000 hotel rooms available and six luxury hotels: the Embassy Suites Outdoor World, Hilton DFW Lakes Executive Conference Center, the Hyatt Regency DFW, the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center, the Grand Hyatt DFW and the recently-opened Great Wolf Lodge. The eight-story Great Wolf Lodge resort has 605 rooms and 27,000 square feet of event space, following an expansion that was completed in January.

In addition, Grapevine offers upscale rooms and meeting space at the Idearc Hotel & Conference Center, Baymont Inn, Comfort Suites, Hampton Inn & Suites, Hilton Garden Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Homewood Suites, Hyatt Place, Fairfield Inn & Suites, Residence Inn, Super 8 Hotel, Garden Manor Bed & Breakfast and the Springhill Suites by Marriott.

Grapevine hotels currently offer 800,000 square feet of meeting space. Most of Grapevine’s hotels offer free shuttle service from DFW International Airport and feature resort amenities such as heated pools, Nautilus-equipped health clubs and tennis courts.

There are 81 holes of golf within 15 minutes of every hotel in the city. Grapevine’s three golf courses are ranked among the top 50 public courses in the U.S., including one designed by Byron Nelson and one owned by the NFL Dallas Cowboys.

Texas is the fifth-largest wine-producing state in the nation, and Grapevine has served as a trendsetter with both award-winning wineries and winemakers. So, while in town, be sure to stop by one of the many wineries located in Grapevine.

Then, step back in time to the 19th century on the Grapevine Vintage Railroad’s excursion train pulled by an 1896 steam locomotive. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad has four circa-1925 enclosed passenger coaches, and two circa-1927 open-air patio cars/touring coaches. The Grapevine Vintage Railroad takes groups from Grapevine’s Cotton Belt Railroad Depot to Fort Worth’s Historic Stockyards Station.

Grapevine also offers an abundance of shopping. Whether in Historic Downtown Grapevine or at one of Grapevine’s shopping centers, Grapevine offers options for any shopper’s preference and budget.
