The building boasts 160,000 square feet of meeting and exhibit space, including a 108,000-square-foot exhibit hall that can be divided into three independent spaces. The 28,000-square-foot ballroom can accommodate groups of up to 2,000 people for banquets and can be configured into seven individual function spaces.

Sharing the campus, the 84,000-square-foot Hampton Coliseum arena features seating for 11,000 people, and a 295-suite Embassy Suites Hotel is connected to the convention center by covered walkway. There are 3,100 hotel rooms located within one mile of the convention center, and a total of 3,500 rooms citywide.

The Hampton History Museum’s 10 galleries provide an intimate reception and meeting site, along with exhibits tracing Hampton’s unique history. The Virginia Air & Space Center can accommodate a reception for groups of up to 1,000 people in its awesome galleries featuring suspended aircraft and hands-on simulators. The Hampton University campus presents the Hampton University Museum and the university Convocation Center, providing yet another large venue for group events. The Boo Williams Sports-plex, a $13.5-million athletic venue, opened in Hampton last year.
