The Corporation for Travel Promotion, which was created shortly after President Barack Obama signed the Travel Promotion Act into law in March and aims to attract international visitors to the United States, has named its first board of directors.

They are Caroline Beteta, California Travel & Tourism Commission; Diane Shober, Wyoming Office of Travel & Tourism; George Fertitta, NYC & Company; Stephen Cloobeck, Diamond Resorts International; Tom Klein, Sabre Holdings; Al Weiss, Walt Disney Parks & Resorts; David Lim, Amtrak; Lynda Zengerle, Steptoe & Johnson LLP; Mark Schwab, United Airlines; Roy Yamaguchi, Roy’s Restaurants; and Daniel Halpern, Jackmont Hospitality.
