The JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America has opened in Bloomington, Minnesota. The property is the JW Marriott brand’s first in the Twin Cities area and is part of Mall of America’s recent luxury expansion.
“The Twin Cities region is particularly well-suited for our continued growth in the United States,” said Mitzi Gaskins, vice-president of luxury brand management and guest experience at Marriott International. “Minneapolis-St. Paul is one of the fastest growing areas in the Midwest and the expansion of Mall of America, designed to showcase luxury retail and hospitality concepts, is in alignment with JW Marriott’s brand ethos.”
The JW Marriott Minneapolis Mall of America features 342 guest rooms, the Lobby Lounge and Cedar + Stone, Urban Table, a restaurant offering a private dining room that can accommodate up to 14 guests. For dedicated meeting space, the hotel offers nearly 20,000 including a ballroom that can accommodate more than 1,700 people. Other amenities include a fitness center, indoor pool and an executive lounge.
The JW Marriott will serve as the host hotel for Meetings Quest in Bloomington, Minnesota, July 13–14, 2016.
