Hyatt Regency Los Angeles International Airport has unveiled a new, self-contained conference center, bringing its total meeting space to more than 52,000 square feet. Located less than a block from Los Angeles International Airport (LAX), the hotel recently completed a $75 million renovation.
“The extensive renovation of the newly branded Hyatt Regency Los Angeles Airport speaks to L.A.’s overall commitment to maintaining itself as one of the premier destinations for meetings and events,” said Darren Green, senior vice-president of sales for the Los Angeles Tourism & Convention Board. “Booking a meeting at an airport property offers two important advantages: close proximity to Los Angeles International Airport and amenities that specifically cater to business travelers such as Hyatt Regency’s all-new conference center designed for both small and large groups with a unique ideation room to boost creativity.”
The conference center provides more than 10,000 square feet of flexible meeting space. Meeting planners can utilize several boardrooms and breakout spaces for small groups of 10 to 20 as well as larger rooms that will accommodate groups of up to 150 attendees. Additional features include all-day dining options, state-of-the-art technology, adjacent access to a large self-parking garage and direct shuttle service from all terminals at LAX.
“Hyatt Regency LAX is fast becoming a favorite destination for upscale corporate meetings due to our convenient location, unparalleled guest service standards and complete meeting packages,” said Jeff Rostek, the hotel’s managing director. “We designed and built the self-contained Hyatt Regency Conference Center to cater to the growing trend of small to medium sized groups, but can also accommodate large groups with our 14,000 square-foot ballroom, one of the largest in the area.”
In addition to the new conference center, meeting space at Hyatt Regency LAX includes a divisible ballroom, 12,000 square feet of outdoor space and 25 meeting rooms. The 580-room property also offers two new restaurants, complimentary Wi-Fi and complimentary 24-hour shuttle to and from the airport.
