Halcyon-a hotel in Cherry Creek has opened in Cherry Creek North, the luxury shopping district of Denver.
“There has not been a new hotel built in this neighborhood for more than 13 years and there was a distinct need for a modern luxury, independent hotel that truly evokes everything that is Cherry Creek,” said Matt Joblon, principal and CEO of BMC Investments, one of the hotel’s developers. “This part of Denver is evolving so fast in so many positive ways that it needed a hotel like this as an anchor.”
Halcyon offers 154 guest rooms, courtesy transportation and hi-speed Wi-Fi among its amenities. Food and beverage options include Departure Restaurant, offering Asian cuisine; Departure Elevated, a rooftop bar; and Quality Italian, which is scheduled to open later this year. For meetings, the property offers 6,500 square feet of space that can accommodate up to 300 people. Options include a 3,500-square-foot ballroom, a 400-square-foot hospitality suite and a 1,700-square-foot pre-function space.
