Cliff House Maine in Cape Neddick has reopened following the completion of the first phase of an extensive renovation. The resort closed in October 2015 to undergo the large-scale transformation and will continue to update its offerings, which will include additional guest rooms and an adults-only pool by the summer of 2017. Another new amenity is The Spa, a 9,000-square-foot facility that is scheduled to open this fall.

“We are excited to welcome guests and provide them with a special Maine escape through our regional culinary offerings, locally inspired design features, upscale amenities and unique indoor and outdoor experiences,” said Scott Spann, general manager of Cliff House. “In addition to these exceptional offerings that will make Cliff House New England’s most sought after coastal destination, we have built a team of truly talented and passionate people to provide genuine and devoted hospitality service. In the end, we know it’s the engagement between our team members and our guests that make all the difference, and that’s what you can expect at our Maine retreat.”

Cliff House, situated atop Bald Head Cliff, features 132 redesigned guest rooms that offer expansive water views. The additional guest rooms that are expected to debut in 2017 will bring the total room count to more than 225. For meetings, the resort has more than 25,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor meeting spaces, including a 150-seat amphitheater and the new Atlantic Ballroom. And for the first time in the resort’s 144-year history, Cliff House will remain open year-round.
